How do you identify your photographic style?
My style is a blend of photojournalistic, documentary and traditional styles, mixing natural candid that are creative and exciting, with formal and romantic.
Please describe any special techniques you offer?
I offer black and white or sepia conversions at no charge! Spot Coloring is quoted on a per project basis, I also work with my customers to custom design beautiful digital flush mount albums or coffee table wedding photo books.
Which lighting situations do you have experience with?
Most of the Island weddings are in warm light sunset time but my experience extend to overcast days or harsh sunlight or indoors deemed light.
Do you have a media preference?
I photograph all of my weddings using high-end professional Canon digital equipment.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I am the only shooter at Kenjic Studio if the wedding event is larger I have an assistant
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
I never book more than one wedding in a day. I want to devote all of my energies and focus to make the coverage the very best it can be.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
I have associations with many other photographers on the Kauai Island. In the unusual circumstance that I would not be able to attend and photograph the wedding, one of my colleagues would replace me with your approval.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes: cameras, flashes, flashcards.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
My prices are organized by packages. I do have an hourly rate for unique situations / overtime.
Are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime?
I am always available if an event goes long. My charge is $250/hr and I bill in 1/2 hr increments - $125. For overtime shooting I would bill you later.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Three weeks after the wedding I will send you an email notice and direction on how to access a private preview website for viewing wedding images.
How long can the couple keep the proofs?
The preview website is hosted for 12 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I share the copyright with you; you will receive the copyright release for unlimited printing if the CD is part of your package.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
When we initiate a contract there is an area where you may give me permission to publish.
Do you provide the digital files to the couple?
Some packages include high-resolution edited and print ready digital files on CD
Most of the packages include low-resolution proof only digital files on CD
What kind of albums do you offer?
My studio offers digital flush mount and coffee table books.
When will I get the final book?
That depends upon the type of album you decide to include in your package, how long it takes you to choose which images are going into it and how long it takes for you to approve the design.
Can I change the design layout?
You are welcome to reorganize layouts on 3 album pages.
How long does it take to deliver a book?
Generally 3 weeks after it has been approved and ordered.
